Sun Case Accessory
With summer just around the corner, we were sourced to design and manufacture this limited-edition mobile accessory for O2 customers to clip a tube of sunscreen to their phones.
Working with Hope & Glory, our frequent collaborator for promotional campaigns, the client were after a practical and on-trend summer give-away. O2 partnered with the British Skin Foundation and organic skincare brand Green People, whose Cha Vøhtz Age Defy+ product was delivered along with the accessory.
The form-factor was inspired by a social media trend they were looking to leverage, with design details tuned for efficient 3D printing as well as branding that was high-visibility, cost-effective and durable.
Our Modelshop facility printed a thousand units using PLA (polylactic acid) a renewable print polymer made from corn starch and sugar cane, for distribution to O2 shops across six UK cities in time for Skin Cancer Awareness Month.
