Commuters in Canary Wharf are used to being dwarfed by the surrounding architecture but got to experience a feeling of miniaturisation when they were confronted by our giant coffee mug on their morning commute.  Standing 3 meters high, holding over 13,000 litres of coffee and weighing in at 12.8 tonnes, the installation was designed to turn heads and it didn’t fail to deliver when it appeared one morning in heart of the city’s financial district.   

This world record beating coffee mug, officially recognised by Guinness, was constructed as part of a campaign to promote the Italian brand De’Longhi’s new range of artisan coffee makers. 

Our design, engineering, fabrication and install teams were able to deliver this project in a mere 15 days!
